Organization / Company
UCB Media, EmergeNetwork
Web site

Projects Worked On
I lead an org that helps equip young Asian leaders with media and leadership skills and I also represent United Christian Broadcasters in Asia as they help leaders like these establish excellent radio and TV stations in unreached Asian nations as the laws change in their nation and allow it. It is an unprecedented time for Asia. Countries like Nepal are undergoing a sudden shift from being jailed for evangelism (6 year sentences) to being allowed to openly operate Christian radio stations in many cities in the nation. They just need the training and support to create the kind of media that is captivating, entertaining and clear on its Christian message so their peoples can know the Gospel and enter the Kingdom.

Outstanding Meeting in LA

I just want to thank everyone who took the time to converse with me in LA. I value each of the meetings I had and am always grateful to the Lord for allowing me to expand my connection throughout the Body of Christ. I thought we had an excellent mix of competencies in the group and a good balance of interest and groups represented.

Please pray for us in Asia as we launch a new 10 week immersion-style media training program in Thailand this January. We will accept 25 leaders from surrounding nat… Continue

I WANT A NEW CHURCH

OK, this has been a long time coming but I can’t hold it in any more. I want a new church. I LOVE the church and my soul has been enriched by my church life more than anything other than my family, but I am just so dissatisfied with my experience of trying to find a local church to go to when we aren’t on the road that I want to start a conversation about it. Everywhere I go I hear the same groans from people who love the Lord and who love the church, but are agonizing over what church has becom… Continue

One thing that is needed in Christian Media

So far Christian media has mostly been controlled by pastors. I am a pastor so i understand this. Pastors have attempted to use TV in particular to just capture the dynamism of the live preaching and worship event and put it on the air. Only Hillsong has, in my opinion, been able to do an adequate job in capturing the feeling of a live service.

To really begin using visual media (tv, film, internet) the way it needs to be used we need to see a shift in the power base in Christian media to those… Continue

Chuck - just sent a message (I think) through VSN regarding the samples. Just in case it didn't come through wanted to make sure I communicated back with you.
Really like the samples and the direction they are taking. I have sent the link on to a number of Nav staff who are involved with our staff in donor development, communications, and training. I will pass feedback on as I receive it.
Thanks to you and Graham for all your hard work on this!

Sorry if you have been on one or more of these conf calls and I am just spacing out. My work load has been rather overwhelming of late so I've just been taking it one day at a time. It was a nice diversion to come to the conference.

Oh, sorry. I was wondering if that might come up during the conference, but there seemed to be a different focus at this event. I have been on several conference calls with Clyde and others on this topic. Last one was with Graham's group. Right now I have been waiting to hear back from the two different groups who are working on this "product."

yes, I was there for a day and 3/4s. When I saw you, you were in conversation with others so didn't want to disturb. Glad you guys had such a good turn out. Some really talented and quality people-especially the younger ones - how encouraging!

I read your blog on "I WANT A NEW CHURCH" and I couldn't agree more, God is so much bigger than were letting Him be.
I came across this site hoping for a real difference, that the body of Christ will give Him first place every second of the day. That is truly my prayer.

My daughter lives in Shanghai China, and is going to be there for the next three years, so I like the fact that you see things from a not so North American view. God Bless Chuckquinley
