I was interested to find Let's Love Japan: http://www.letslovejapan.org/msi.php and their special emphasis on video for mobile phones in Japan using anime / manga style stuff.

I know some folks who work in Japan. This group is not familiar to me. Paul Nethercott (part of the VSN) may know them.

I'll keep an eye on this, we've just had a recent glut of young OMF workers heading to Japan, some in creative ministry - like JP our Brazilian street dancer (http://www.youtube.com/user/jpchiphop). Exciting.

We need ways for him to share what he does with the contacts he makes - Mobile is the way to go in Japan.

I want to pass along a portion of Paul Nethercott's latest prayer eLetter because of his focus on films for reaching Japanese. -- Dave

"Why make films? Films are a powerful means of communication so we are building bridges to people by creating redemptive stories. In Japan a tiny portion of the population listens to preaching but many people watch films. Instead of trying to get people to come to us we are going to them. Also, through film making we are investing in a new generation of artists who are Christians -- this is one of the most important aspects of the vision.

How you can help support the vision to impact Japan for Christ by empowering and equipping creative people.
