What software are ya'll using for budgets as Executive Producers?

Hey ya'll what software are you using for budgets as Executive Producers? I've heard about Movie Magic Executive Producer Budgeting are there any more before I make my purchase?

Just using my good ole brain and others as well. Then again, my productions aren't super super complex

Hey, I use good ol' excel for most budgets and Movie Magic for more complex. The excel is great because you can really customize because MM often makes a lot of assumptions that aren't needed for me.

I actually assigned it to an Executive Producer because he has the software already.

Hi,

There is a product from Jungle Software called Gorilla that is great. There are stairstep versions from student up to professional. It's available as single copies or in "crew packs" which contain five copies. For about $50, you can buy an add-on that has all of the union rates for every area of the country. I was so impressed with it that I used it in a college course that I taught.
